Problem 1: |
Both transmitters fail and vehicle rocker switch continues to work correctly.
|
|
Solution 1: |
First check the transmitters battery.
|
|
: |
Find the wire harness to the receiver (4 wires: b, g, r, blk) and unplug the harness to disconnect power to the receiver.
|
|
: |
Wait approximately 3 minutes and plug it back in.
|
|
: |
Within 2-5 seconds press button 1 of transmitter 1 then button 2 of transmitter two. This process is called recoding.

Problem 2: |
One transmitter works correctly the other does not.
|
|
Solution 2: |
Check the battery of the transmitter not working.
|

Problem 3: |
One compartment fails to lock or unlock.

Solution 3: |
Make sure all connecting contacts are complete and fully plugged.
|

Using a test light, probe connect to both contacts from the wiring harness.

The test light should only momentarily light when the locking system is cycled.
|

Problem 4: |
One entire side of the vehicle will not lock or unlock

Solution 4: |
Check the main control module fuses an replace if necessary.

Confirm that the LED lights light during lock unlock cycle's.

Verify that the wire harness in the vehicle is not cut or damaged.
|

Problem 5: |
The vehicles compartments lock and unlock, but the switch in the cab will not work.

Look for loose or damaged wires at the rocker switch or control module.
